What makes Deerfield Farm's riding program different than other riding programs?
Deerfield Farm is a small exclusive barn. Our riding program has been featured in many national magazine articles which acclaim us a one of the finest equestrian programs in the nation.
We personally know each and every student that participates in our programs, which allows us to build that all important student/instructor relationship. We feel it is an honor to be a part of our students' lives.
Is it easy to get a hold of someone when I need to since it is a barn?
If we are not in the barn assisting the veterinarian or farrier or conducting a tour, we should pick up during normal business hours. If we miss your call, we will promptly return it within 24 hours (the same goes for emails).
How important is safety to you?
We take safety VERY seriously here at Deerfield. We require approved helmets and riding boots whenever the rider is on the horse.
Will you take on students, even if they don't have plans to purchase or show a horse?
The Young Riders Academy was created specifically for students who don't own their own horse and/or just want to learn the classical art of riding. With no more than 40 students, this exclusive program provides gentle, trained lesson horses for all to enjoy safely. The YRA students are considered our home team!
What form of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check and cashiers check . We bill on a 30-day cycle, payments are due before your first lesson of the month.
