Adult riding lessons

On our beautiful 15-acre property in Issaquah WA, the staff at Deerfield Farm has the ability to cater riding lessons so each person can learn at their own pace.

If you have never ridden before or want to get back in the saddle after many years away, we offer riding lessons to all Seattle and Eastside area adults, from Bellevue to Issaquah to Snoqualmie and North Bend WA.

Why ride?

Horses reduce stress

Everyone has too much stress in their life and too much stress can have negative impacts. Horse time helps you relax and find moments of peace in your fast-paced life.

  • Mucking stalls-exercise reduces mental stress
  • Grooming your horse-rhythmic motions melt tension away
  • Longeing-reinforces your position with your horse
  • Hand grazing-bonding with your horse in a quiet time
  • Trail riding-serene setting to bond with horse
  • Training session-mental and physical activity combine for a sense of accomplishment

Whatever your reason for wanting to ride, you'll receive all these benefits and much more.

testimonial

Janet says...

“As a 65+ senior, who had never been on a horse until about 10 years ago, I started lessons at Deerfield 2+ years ago. First once a week and now two. I love it and would recommend it to everyone! The trainers and instructors are world class, the horses very well trained and taken care of and the setting is beautiful. Try it. Deerfield is the best of everything.”
